- DDEESSCCRRIIPPTTIIOONN
- The input for ttccpp--eennvv must be a TCP connection. ttccpp--eennvv
- finds out information about that connection, puts the
- information into several environment variables as
- described in ttccpp--eennvviirroonn((55)),, and runs _p_r_o_g_r_a_m with the
- given arguments.
-
- Usually ttccpp--eennvv is run from iinneettdd. It might instead be
- run from another server that already sets up the right
- environment variables; if PPRROOTTOO is set to TTCCPP when ttccpp--eennvv
- is invoked, ttccpp--eennvv assumes that all the other variables
- are set up properly, and it does not check whether the
- input is a TCP connection.
